Take action

We should respect every person’s right to withhold or to share your story. If and when you are ready to be visible, we invite you to join us in holding lawmakers accountable for their inaction on condemning sexual violence. Three bills were introduced during the regular legislative session this year which addressed harassment and assault — none generated enough support to be signed into law. And while we are not afforded protection of our bodies, we are at the same time denied autonomy over them.

These report cards show all the legislators in the Greater Houston area who are up for re-election in 2018 and who failed on abortion during the 85th regular and special legislative sessions of oppression. There were many more bills attempting to legislate women’s bodies. Performance on the two SB8s are representative.

Look up my representative to hold them accountable at the polls.
